We are overjoyed to have such great learner retention, many of the folks who begin learning in one way with us ask to stay on and continue their creative practice, for this reason we offer informal Clubs.
Suitable for beginners or those with a reasonable level of knowledge the Clubs are weekly group video calls with personal feedback from the tutor and your peers. Each term (in our case a block of 6 weeks) a new project is provided with ideas of the kind of work you could produce ready for each call.
Beginners in either editing or using their camera are able to use these supportive calls to ask questions and get feedback while they work through the daunting fundamentals of photography. You will be provided with a bespoke set of exercises to help build the skills you need to suit the type of work you most want to do. While you work through your own tasks you can join in the discussion with other club members all of whom are happy to share their advice.

In the Photo Club the projects will encourage you to use your camera each week, trying different skills and shooting novel subjects (or often old subjects in a new way). Improve your confidence and get the benefit of some structure to ensure you have a reason to keep regularly doing the hobby you love.

An Editing Club is ideal for those keen not to forget all the photo manipulation skills they have worked hard to learn. In these sessions you can practice and perfect important techniques to enhance and maximise your digital images. If you are the type of person who responds best to a nudge and some structure in order to produce work of your own, the club is very helpful.

We offer a photography club to encourage you to stretch and challenge yourself using your camera, or an editing club to do the same with your photo manipulation skills. Try either or both.
Clubs are charged at £60 for a block of 6 sessions.
