Night photography

An introduction to looking at and photographing the night sky, this event is suitable for beginners or those hoping to develop their skills or increase their knowledge. We are very lucky to have an experienced and interesting astronomer attending to help explain what we will see.
Hot drinks will be provided.
In the event of mixed weather on the evening of the event, to keep us occupied while the clouds blow over we have alternative activities for both photography and astronomy suitable for indoors or in the churchyard. This includes experimenting with flash photography and painting with light - fun but tricky subjects which are suitable for beginners or advanced photographers.
Highly recommended: Warm clothes, RED torches, camera, tripod, binoculars.
Useful to bring: a long / telephoto lens, shutter release / remote control,
