    10 am - Noon
    Meeting place: TBC - Private lane to farm NZ019884. Of road parking before the ford, please Do Not cross the ford.

    Part of the National Trust land this farm is involved in the Wilder Wallington Project. The proactive and experienced tenant farmers are embracing a raft of changes to improve and restore the land. 
    The short route we have planned travels from green pasture up towards the forest onto rougher ground showing a subtly changing range of habitats and culminating in long distance views. 

    Of particular interest: Kests, hedges and burnside.
    4km/ 2.5hrs on grassland and track.
